Hello there once more. Another month, another blog from me. It’s been busy here since I last wrote. My holiday seems like a distant memory now. However, I’ve still got a bit of a tan and my lovely photographs to remind me. I seem to have been doing twelve-hour days since I got back, organising the Forum, the Web Site updates and the Coffee Shop. I’ve been creating some lovely new banners on PhotoImpact, which I’m thoroughly enjoying playing with. I’ve also designed a new range of digital scrapbook pages called ‘Keepsakes’. The idea is that you email me up to six of your favourite photographs and I create a digital scrapbook page or frameable page for you from those. Great for those special occasions, to keep the memories fresh, and also to give as gifts for special Birthdays/Anniversaries etc. These are available now from the Coffee Shop. There’s a link on the left to take you there and I’ve included a new page on the Web Site to tell you all about them with some sample pages I’ve created for you to see.
Otherwise, it’s been an interesting time for me. I’m still working on the Law of Attraction/Cosmic Ordering thing. I’ve been busy putting in my orders and awaiting their delivery. What occurred to me yesterday though, was that I wasn’t realising some of the bigger orders I’ve been putting in. To my mind, every little problem is a cause for another ‘order’ to go in, so I asked the Universe “Come on then. What’s my problem?” I had the radio on at the time and as I was asking the words of a song jumped out at me “It’s gonna take time. A whole lot of precious time. And it’s gonna take money. A whole lot of spending money.” Yes, George Harrison (my favourite Beatle by the way!)
It made me realise that while I was ‘asking’ for the things I wanted and being successful with my small orders, I was holding myself back with the bigger things because I was holding on to a belief that bigger things take time. And money… I was asking for something in one breath and then telling myself “Don’t be hasty” with the next breath. I was also assuming that there is only one way to manifest something. For instance if you needed a lot of money for some project or other, then you might think that the only way to get it is to win the Lottery. Well, this isn’t always the case. There are many ways that the Universe can deliver our ‘orders’ if we allow it to and don’t focus on which way these will come to us.
I’ve discovered that the key is to place the order and ask for it to come, “Easily and quickly, in wonderful ways and for the benefit of all.” Then you just go about your daily life. If there’s anything you’re guided to do or anywhere you’re guided to go, then do it, or go there if you can, but otherwise, just leave it up to the Universe. My problem was that I was meddling in things that weren’t my business. Trying to tell the Universe how to deliver my order and presuming, as well, that because it was a big order it would take ages to come. So the Universe said, “Your wish is my command!” and left me waiting. Not any more. From now on I’m going to focus on the end result and not how it will be achieved and wait and see what happens. I’ll let you know…
