Karen: Hi YvonneI just found your journal by "accident" and must definately call in again when I have more time. I can`t believe some of the things on your page which cry out to tell me I was "guided" here, lol... I work spiritually under the name of Rainbow with my soulmate who is known as spectrum, I see your references to the word "Why" which is the title of "our song", and we jokingly call our story the "Neverending story"... I see you used that for your music recently ;-)It seems we have some thi

It Neverl Rains But It Pours

Hello again from sunny Beverley. It’s been another busy time for me. And it’s interesting how the work always seems to come in at once. One minute I’m wondering what to do with myself, the next I’m snowed under with work. Not that I’m complaining, mind!

Which brings me to the point of this blog. ‘It never rains but it pours.’ How many times have we said this? And we always use it to define some negative thing that’s happening to us, don’t we? Like rain or problems. And if what we’re thinking about creates or attracts whatever happens in our lives, then surely it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy?

But what if we used it to define some positive thing that’s happening to us? For instance, I have noticed that, as well as the work thing, whenever I’ve ordered some parcel that’s due to arrive, I can wait all week for it and nothing comes, but on a Friday when I’ve been out shopping and come home laden with three or four heavy, full bags and no room to hold any more, I open the door, and there is my parcel on the mat. Presumably, this is down to the Law of Attraction. Because I already have enough to hold, I’m putting out with my thoughts and actions that my life is full of lovely things (my shopping) and the Universe simply acts on these thoughts and actions and brings me more.

And isn’t it always the case that if you go shopping (to buy clothes for example), and you find one lovely thing, you will find plenty more? However, if you don’t begin well at one shop and can’t find anything you like, you can go from shop to shop and not find anything all day. It occurs to me, that the finding of the first thing and the buying and enjoyment of the purchase creates a vibration that stays with us all day, and attracts more of the same.

Likewise, if you have an intention to find information on a certain subject, you will find that information on that subject flows to you to help you find exactly what you need to know. Once you decide what you want to know, or what you want to achieve, a chain of events is activated to help you achieve this. So how about making some conscious decisions to allow the Universe to ‘rain and pour’ lots of good things on you. Starting today…
